Meeting Time: After School
Club description encompassing a culminating project(s):

The Virtual Reality Club met Wednesday’s at Lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 in Room #6 this past semester. We did not get going until October, but once our VR headsets arrived many students became very excited and enthusiastic about participating in our club.

Virtual Reality works with learning in an innumerable number of subjects especially through our vendor Nearpod’s licensed content, and the 25 VR headsets that we received from Nearpod this semester are also compatible with hundreds of free VR cell phone apps.

We used our club meeting time to explore VR cell phone apps as well as online videos and articles which inform students all about the emerging world of virtual reality and how it is also being used in educational subjects such as ELA, Math, Science, Astronomy, Anatomy, History, Social Studies, Geography, and even things like virtual travel.
